The Academic Senate is composed of 9 members – 6 academic staff and 3 students. Its powers, composition, method of formation and rules of procedure are determined by law, the election regulations and the Rules of Procedure of the Academic Senate.
The senators deal with topics related to the budget, faculty management and institutes. They may also represent the interests of students. All Senate meetings are open to the public and senators may be contacted in the event of a suggestion, complaint or other problems.
